Privacy Policy

Saveling ("we", "us") is a personal finance habit app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.

The short version

Saveling works offline. Everything you enter — expenses, envelopes, goals, XP, streaks, your name and chosen character — is stored only on your device. We do not have a server that receives your financial data, and we never connect to your bank.

Information stored on your device

• Expenses you log (amount, category, optional note, date)
• Envelopes and savings goals (name, target, saved amount)
• Game progress (XP, level, streaks, quests, unlocked rooms)
• Your display name and selected character
• App settings (e.g. whether reminders are enabled)

This data stays in the app's local storage. Deleting the app deletes it. It is included in your device backups according to your iOS settings.

Information we do not collect

• No bank or card connections, no account numbers
• No contacts, photos, location, or advertising identifiers
• No analytics SDKs that profile you across other apps

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device (for example, a morning hello and an evening check-in). These are generated on-device and are not sent through our servers. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Subscriptions (Saveling Pro) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only anonymous transaction status needed to unlock features; we never see your payment details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Children

Saveling is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
